VODJet – AI Twitch Clipper for Windows

VODJet is a Windows desktop app that helps gaming streamers turn long Twitch VODs into short-form clips for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts — all on your PC, without cloud uploads or monthly credits.

If you stream regularly and want to post clips faster, VODJet scans your recordings, finds the best moments, and exports ready‑to‑post vertical videos that you can upload directly to short‑form platforms.

What VODJet does

  • Turns long Twitch VODs into short clips for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Auto‑detects highlight moments (kills, clutches, reactions, fails) in gaming streams.
  • Formats gameplay and facecam cleanly for 9:16 vertical video.
  • Adds burned‑in captions so clips work without sound.
  • Runs entirely on your Windows PC — no cloud uploads, no waiting, no credit system.

VODJet is built for solo streamers, mid‑tier creators, and anyone who wants to grow by posting more often without spending hours editing.

Who should use VODJet

  • Twitch, Kick, or YouTube streamers who post to TikTok, Reels, or Shorts.
  • Competitive gamers (Valorant, Fortnite, League of Legends, Call of Duty, etc.) who want to highlight their best plays.
  • Anyone who records 4–8+ hour streams and wants a fast, repeatable way to clip highlights.

If you are tired of scrubbing through long VODs or waiting for cloud‑based clipping tools, VODJet is designed to speed up your workflow.

How it works (simple version)

  1. Record your stream as usual.
  2. Open VODJet on your Windows PC.
  3. Drag your VOD file into the app.
  4. Draw a box around your facecam and gameplay area.
  5. Select TikTok, Reels, or Shorts (all 9:16).
  6. Generate clips and let VODJet find the best moments.
  7. Export and upload the ready‑to‑post clips.

Most users get 5–10 clips from a 6–8 hour stream in under 20 minutes.

System & compatibility

  • Operating system: Windows 10 or Windows 11.
  • Architecture: 64‑bit preferred.
  • Storage: Needs enough space for your VODs and exported clips (large files are common for Twitch recordings).
  • Other: Runs locally — no web account required, just a Windows machine and your stream files.

For detailed specs and best performance tips, see the full System Requirements on the main site.

Download & releases

You can download the latest installer directly from the GitHub Releases.

Setup quick‑start

  1. Download the latest Windows installer from Releases.
  2. Run the installer and follow the setup wizard.
  3. Launch VODJet after install.
  4. Drag your Twitch VOD (.mp4 or similar) into the app.
  5. Draw boxes around your facecam and gameplay regions.
  6. Choose TikTok / Reels / Shorts format.
  7. Click Generate and open the output folder when done.

If you want more detail, check the How It Works guide on the main site.

Why streamers choose VODJet

  • Local processing: No uploads, no remote servers, no upload‑wait for 10–30GB VODs.
  • No credit burn: Buy once, clip as much as you want; no monthly credits or per‑clip charges.
  • Streamer‑first: Built for gaming highlights, not generic talking‑head videos.
  • Simple workflow: Everything happens in one app; no extra cloud dashboards to manage.

If you stream late and post in the morning, VODJet fits naturally into that routine.

Support and feedback

If you run into problems or want to suggest improvements:

  • Open a new issue on the Issues tab.

  • You can also email [support@vodjet.com] or DM [x] with questions.

We regularly update VODJet with:

  • New clip‑finding algorithms.
  • Better vertical layout options.
  • Support for more game‑specific moment‑types (e.g., clutches, snipes, towers, etc.).
