Querying reports: the tool, the skill, and the data-file contract for 3.0.47
A real TestRunReport.json is 10.7 MB — around 2.7M tokens — so "check the data in
TestRunReport.json", which AI-Integration-Prompt told agents to do, is an instruction
that cannot be followed. It now routes through kronikol query, as does the rest of
the wiki.
New: Querying-Reports — the addressing scheme, the budget flags, every command with
examples, the older-report fallback, and how to give an agent the skill.
Updated for the enriched data files: Generated-Reports (interaction fields, step
failure detail, annotations, stepPath, revised stableId), Assertion-Tracking (where a
failed assertion's detail ends up, and that it used to reach the diagram and nothing
else), Step-Tracking, Tabular-Attributes (row markers as annotations),
Phase-Aware-Tracking, Event-Annotations, Ingesting-External-Captures (the round trip
is lossless; the stableId change), Diagnostics-and-Debugging (query beside
DiagnosticMode, and StepAttributionMismatch), Report-Configuration
(TestRunReportFullStepDetail), API-Reference (ScenarioStep's failure fields,
MarkerKind, IsDiagramMarker — which shipped in 3.0.45 undocumented),
Merging-Parallel-Reports (what the mergeable file still adds), Home and _Sidebar.
TcpTap resilience: streaming parser, values larger than the cap, diagnostics/counters; host diagnostics + CaptureDegraded; --diagnostic flag
Titles capitalised at render; run-window ingest filter; diagnostics table
Docs for TcpTap, Otlp, Cucumber Messages importer, ingest hardening, attachments, capitalisation (Kronikol 3.0.45 increment)
Ingest: marker placement wording
Ingest: user actions, step delimiters and assertion notes from external captures; Playwright reporter pattern
Ingest: call-tree ordering
Ingest: response pairing, --fold-unknown, FileShare.ReadWrite readers
Docs for 3.0.44: ProxyTap extension, NDJSON ingest (kronikol ingest), Playwright adapter, capture-time redaction; report-configuration options (ReportsFolderPath honoured, collapse/arrow cap, no-interactions marker)
