One thing I would like to verify on this pre-release is memory consumption (e.g. overnight). When the display turns OFF, TouchKio now switches the dashboard to a static idle page after ~10 minutes. The idea is that Chromium stops painting Lovelace while the screen is unused, so RAM should stay flat until morning compared to previous versions. Please leave a device running and watch the Memory Usage MQTT sensor in Home Assistant (a history graph is enough). Useful to compare:

Unfortunately I have to confirm that there still seems to be an issue with the memory congestion. Between September 21st and 25th my raspberry was running and TouchKio was just idle on the HA login screen. In the 25th I logged in and as you see the memory is beginning to get filled. When TouchKio crashed, I rebooted the pi and immediately logged in. One can see the memory again rising. |
