Description

I am removing myself from the CODEOWNERS and MAINTAINERS.md files due to inactivity.

This change is necessary because being listed as a code owner while not actively maintaining or reviewing code is misleading and slows things down for everyone else. This PR aligns ownership with actual activity (or lack thereof, in this case).

PR dependencies

None.

How to test and validate this PR

  1. Open the CODEOWNERS file.
  2. Confirm that my entry has been removed.
  3. Optionally, observe that I am no longer auto-requested for reviews (the true test of freedom).

No automated tests are involved, and none are needed.

Changelog notes

No user-facing changes.

PR Backports

  • 16.0-stable: No.
  • 14.5-stable: No.
  • 13.4-stable: No.

But I will appreciate if someone creates that for me, so I won't get any notifications from these branches as well. Thanks.

Checklist

  • I've provided a proper description (arguably more than needed)

  • I've added the proper documentation (this is the documentation)

  • I've tested my PR on amd64 device (reading a file worked)

  • I've tested my PR on arm64 device (trusting symmetry here)

  • I've written the test verification instructions

  • I've set the proper labels to this PR

  • I've checked the boxes above, or I've provided a good reason why I didn't check them.

Oh holy moly shit. I apologize for this. Need to fix for sure. But look, all other tests passed successfully. That has never happened in my practice before. I appreciate this huge progress.

I am removing myself from the CODEOWNERS and MAINTAINERS.md files due
to inactivity.

This time I used Claude to avoid stupid mistakes! I heard that to get merged faster, it's better if your commits are co-authored with AI.
