Please do not change future options

Hello. Please do not set future options from within your package, as in:

nebula/R/nebula.R

options(future.globals.maxSize=fmaxsize)

This might have unintended side effects for other packages and risk producing incorrect results elsewhere. R options are meant for end-users, not developers. If you need to tweak the settings, please do so temporarily, as explained in https://future.futureverse.org/articles/future-7-for-package-developers.html#avoid-changing-the-future-options.

Hi Henrik, Thank you for your reminder. This should be fixed in the latest version 1.5.6. Following the information you provided, I added the script below to the function ## restore future.globals.maxSize on quitting this function original_max_size <- getOption("future.globals.maxSize") options(future.globals.maxSize=fmaxsize) on.exit({ options(future.globals.maxSize = original_max_size) }) Best regards, Liang
