Hi, I'm Leo

Backend engineer focused on observability, distributed systems, and keeping things running. I care a lot about making software that's debuggable and resilient in production.

Tech Stack

  • Go — primary language, where I spend most of my time
  • Python — scripting, tooling, occasional service work
  • Shell — glue, automation, the usual
  • Infra / DevOps — Kubernetes, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana

What I'm working on

Mostly backend services and internal tooling around metrics, tracing, and deployment pipelines. Lately I've been digging deeper into distributed tracing and building CLI tools that make infra work less painful.

Currently learning

  • eBPF for low-level observability
  • More structured approaches to on-call and incident response
