It seems there may be a compatibility issue between FanCtrl and HDDs.
Hello, after installing the FanCtrl program, I started hearing a strange noise from my hard disk at regular intervals, a sound I have never heard before.
This is not a normal HDD read/write noise, nor does it sound like a typical pre-failure noise. It is a completely unfamiliar sound that repeats at fixed intervals and continues until the system is powered off.
The noise does not occur immediately when FanCtrl is launched. Instead, it happens randomly, which makes it even more concerning and distracting.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
If the developer happens to see this post, I would really appreciate it if this could be addressed via a firmware or software update.
