Yaneurao Importing

I've been attempting to translate something with the Yaneurao Itsufuru module and it's been working great, however, I just realized that none of the choices work when I change the text of the choices and reimport. Do you know anything about this? It's incredibly obscure. I've been exporting as JSON. Does that potentially leave out data?
