Plan Area Width Is Too Small, especially on iPad

The Plan area width is currently too small, especially on iPad. It appears very narrow and cannot be expanded, making it difficult to use comfortably for planning tasks.
While this layout may have been designed to prioritize the map view, the Plan area is equally important for effective planning. Its current size limits usability and reduces efficiency when working on detailed plans.
It would be helpful to allow users to resize or expand the Plan area, particularly on larger devices like tablets, to create a more balanced and user-friendly experience.

Done: the plan and places panels can now be resized with a finger on tablets (and with the arrow keys), also in the portrait layout. It's coming in the next big update.
