User Mentions with Markdown

When creating a comment with the Linear API using markdown (body not bodyData), is it possible to @mention a user? If so, what is the syntax?

It is currently not possible unfortunately. But we will be working on this feature very soon. I'll make sure to keep you posted once it's available.

This is now possible! You can create mentions by linking to the item. For instance, my user profile page in the Linear workspace is https://linear.app/linear/profiles/smcgivern. If I pass that as part of the body data, for instance:

https://linear.app/linear/profiles/smcgivern what do you think?

Then I see this:

I tested this feature a few days ago and everything was working great, but it doesn't seem to be working anymore. Just me?

I have also found this to not be working. When I send https://linear.app/anrok/profiles/{username} it seems to actually set the url to https://linear.app/anrok/profiles/{Firstname}%20{Lastname} - but interestingly it still looks like a valid mention (you can hover and see the right user) but clicking through leads to the url mentioned above which isn't valid
