Touchpad: Premature click release during multi-finger drag + jitter on small movements [SLS2]

Hey, I'm experiencing two touchpad issues and not sure if they're configurable or actual bugs:

• When I hold left click and drag with a second finger (e.g. selecting a screenshot area), lifting the second finger triggers a click release even though I'm still holding the button down.
• Small/slow cursor movements are very jittery — the cursor jumps around instead of moving smoothly.

I tried adding a 50-touchpad.conf config I found on a GitHub page but it didn't seem to change anything:

What I've tried

• Default iptsd config — jitter present on small movements
• Ran iptsd-calibrate with ~5300 samples, tried all three generated profiles (0mm, 2mm, 10mm) - no improvement, some made it worse
• The 50-touchpad.conf is the same as surface-laptop-studio-2.conf so i just removed it - no difference
• Tweaked PositionThresholdMin (0.04, 0.10, 0.15, 0.25) - lower values didn't help, higher values caused the cursor to teleport/jump once the deadzone was exceeded
• Tweaked SizeThresholdMin (0.1 - 0.3) - no noticeable improvement
• Tweaked PositionThresholdMax (lowered to 1) - no fix

None of these resolved either issue. The jitter on small movements persists across all configurations, and the click-release-on-second-finger-lift issue seems completely unaffected by any config changes.
