It appears the Surface Laptop Studio 2 exhibits the same issues as the Surface Laptop 5 regarding it's Thunderbolt ports causing issues which cause a hang during shutdown. I've updated the patches to include the Surface Laptop Studio 2 on the latest kernel build. Tested and working fine on my laptop.

FYI: It would be a bit easier for me if you could submit future kernel PRs against the kernel repo. I have a script (https://github.com/qzed/git-tools/blob/master/git-format-patchsets, if in path, use as e.g. git format-patchsets -t v6.18.3) that automatically generates the patches, so it's a bit easier to keep things in sync and go from the kernel tree to the patches as opposed to the other direction.

@thinkbeforecoding Have you gotten hibernation to work at all?

Yes, it seems hibernation is working... It happens (but rarely) that it does not wakeup when I hope the lid, but usually it works.

Mh... the fan is not spinning often so I did not notice... but I tried hibernation while fan was spinning, and it continued spinning... I gess in hibernation it should quickly stop...
