u-root install issues with no GOPATH?

for whatever reason, i don't have a GOPATH set. i hacked nerf.go to skip the ENV check. not sure if that broke something or not.

i don't know if this got the right u-root. i happen to have an older u-root on my system, v2.0.0. the go.mod for this repo is v4.0.0+incompatible.

This is all obsolete nowadays with Go modules and the more recent u-root, and also #5. Closing thusly.
