Bug description
Just updated to Linux Mint 22.1. Now the Update Manager does not work.
Steps to reproduce
1: See update indicator in the system tray.
2. Left-click same to open the Update Manager.
3. Note that there are 2 updates pending and they are selected.
4. Left-click the Install Updates button
5. 4: The update manager blanks the window as it does a check for new updates, then returns to the main screen WITHOUT doing the previously selected updates.
6. This cycle repeats endlessly.
Expected behavior
Previously, any selected updates were done quickly.
