Update should check on login?

I startup LM17. I login. mintUpdate has a green check, which means no updates.
For security reasons, I'd recommend it checks for updates upon login.

For it to update from the repositories it needs to lock the APT cache. That's how it used to work before Mint 17 and it led to issues as people were likely to interact with APT upon login.
