Bug description

Rotating Images Losslessly Removes ALL EXIF / Meta Data From Image. This happens instantly the second the button is pressed at the top. This is extremely unwanted behavior and obviously quite a big problem.

Steps to reproduce

Take any jpg image file and rotate it with the top buttons. The EXIF / Meta Data is gone instantly.

Expected behavior

Lossless rotate without losing all the exif data from the image

Additional information

I really hope this can be fixed soon. It renders a superb piece of software absolutely obsolete for my use case.

No it isn't? That's a completely different issue.

On Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.3 and pix 3.4.10, I haven't been able to reproduce this with JPEG images from my phone. After rotating, I can still see all metadata, things like the camera model, ISO speed, Aperture, Exposure Time, etc. Even if I close the image in a different orientation and reopen pix, the data is still present.
Makes me wonder if there's something in the image file that's causing this.
