Wanted change

dear authors, similarly to #3 I wwould like to install the ai plugin https://github.com/Acly/krita-ai-diffusion
I managed to create a docker with the repository inside, but I cannot find it in the krita menu.

Could you help/ guide me?

I was also bummed out to find that the AI dockers are not included (although I am not sure nested dockers inside a docker is actually possible). I would love to see it implemented. Thanks stsavian, and Docker-Krita developers!

If you run the container privileged docker in the form of DinD is available. Also this image is gonna get rebased soon. But will have the same feature set plus some expanded options.

I have tried that, but it does not make the AI plugin available or installable. plus it adds more errors in the logs. such as:
level=error msg="failed to ensure the kernel supports pidfd" error="failed to invoke pidfd_open: function not implemented"

I am rebasing this to debian from Alpine and ingesting the appimage, can anyone in this thread test this image ?

tested from portainer, the stack deployed, but can only see selkies interface, no krita. I will try to do same from terminal. and.. I did. I get the splash screen (loading resources), but also plenty of errors in the logs, and seems to work in cpu mode only, the pointer is a black rectangle, and no AI support as yet.

Ok I just looked up what dockers are and it is an internal krita thing also please reference something like chromium for how to run it.

So don't run in priv mode

Basically dockers are not docker and you are supposed to be mounting in the Nvidia card, and as far as I understand while the plugin has the ability to run locally it will require cuda which is like 8 gigs and will not be included with this image . The way you would actually use this plugin is to point it to an external comfyui instance.

You need to understand I maintain hundreds of desktop images I cannot possibly be an expert on every app, it is on the community to show me what is needed then I can add it.

But your post did make me realize fuse-overlayfs was not in the base so big thanks on that one. (DinD falls back to a very slow driver without it)

So there is no built-in solution? Selkies definitely does not work for me (too many errors in the logs, and that black rectangle instead of a normal pointer,and of course no ai plugin), and kasmvnc is missing some components that would allow it to connect to my nvidia cards, I think. Thanks for trying to help though.

Oh I understand you do not know how to set this up, my apologies a thought this was a "I tried it and it does not work" situation but it is a "do this for me" situation.

No I will not be preintalliing plugins and cuda in this container.

I was waiting for an explainer on how to test.
