Hotkey for Editing and Saving

Hello,

I looked under custom hotkeys and noticed it's more related to launching widgets and not application function such as editing or saving to disk.

I was wondering if you could extend the custom hotkeys to allow for application functions. I fine when I'm first setting up dashy, that I'm in and out of edit mode, adding widgets and adding sections.

Sorry if I was lazy posting this, and this actually exists!

Yeah, right now the hotkeys are just for launching / using Dashy. Not so much editing, since that's usually done in the YAML.

I could look into adding keyboard shortcuts for editing and other usage features, but I'd want to nail down exactly what they should be before starting, so that I don't inconvenience anyone by changing them later. So if anyone's got ideas, which are logical, standards / used in other apps, and won't conflict with anything, would be helpful to hear!

Yea, I don't edit the YAML that much. I mostly create the interfaces via the UI.

What about just a key binding manager, where you can edit defaults and add new bindings to specific functions? Then you can decide on the defaults later?

That sounds sensible in theory, but is much more code to maintain, and gets especially complex with things like conflicting bindings
