The sphinxcontrib-asciinema is used by Sphinx to embed Asciinema terminal screencasts. It fails to install under Python 3.12+ because the setuptools module has been deprecated. As its functionality is trivial, this PR implements a simpler version of the package within the
docs/folder of our own repository.
