boost coroutine another version(0.1) contact: rabbit.ljp@gmail.com

Boost.Coroutine Another version Overview:

  • use libcoro as the base for the coroutine transfer
  • use libev as the event trigger, and for the network reactor
  • this Version Coroutine Api is similar with the lua
  • this Version Coroutine support message send&recieve at the same thread, just like erlang
  • this Version Coroutine support cothread (cooperative thread, just like coroutine :) )
  • this Version Coroutine use this_coroutine & this_cothread namespace to get the current context, program more flexiable.

  1. installation

    get the source from the github(https://github.com/liujianping/boost-coro)

1.1 install libev

$: cd boost-coro $: cd libev $: ./configure --prefix=/path/to/ $: make $: make install

1.2 install boost

please reference to the http://www.boost.org

1.3 install boost::coroutine

$: cd boost-coro $: mkdir build $: cd build
$: cmake .. $: make $: make install

boost-coro default install path will be at the /opt/local, and only install static lib and header files. if you need dynamic lib, modify the CMakeLists.txt.

if you want to test the examples,get the examples from the github(https://github.com/liujianping/coro-examples).

  1. bugs

    the current version is a draft version, just a beginning version 0.1; must have some bugs, you can fixed the bugs yourself or report the bugs by sent email to me with the address: rabbit.ljp@gmail.com or leave a message at my homepage: http://tiemaile.com

  2. notes

    current version only tested at linux system, windows & mac ox not supported yet.
