Should a Codex account switcher stay focused or become a power-user toolkit?

A Reddit user asked a useful question after seeing Codex Account Switcher: if other Codex switchers already offer this and more, why choose a smaller one?

That question gets to the core product decision.

Today this project is optimized for everyday Mac users:

• Download a signed and Apple-notarized Mac app.
• Add each authorized account once through browser sign-in.
• Choose an account from the menu bar and confirm.
• Let the app complete the Codex Desktop handoff.
• See the active account and weekly usage without Terminal commands or config-file editing.

The scope stays intentionally small: account switching only, local storage, no model-traffic proxy, and no automatic account rotation.

Broader tools can be a better fit for people who want CLI helpers, scheduled credential refresh, automatic selection, routing, or deeper automation.

Which direction would make the app more useful to you?

1. Keep the focused workflow and make it easier to understand.
2. Keep the simple default and add an optional advanced mode.
3. Grow into a broader power-user toolkit.
