Farewell and what's next for Lively

[rocksdanister]

Hi guys Dani (Rocksdanister) here, I wanted to say I am moving on from the Lively Wallpaper project, it's been 7 years and what a journey it has been. Thanks to everyone who has supported me all these years, I am very proud of what Lively Wallpaper has become.. What started out as a simple hobby project to share the wallpapers I made with a handful of people is now being used by millions of users worldwide. The project will be handed over to Sketches srl, a small app studio focused on developing creative, artistic and drawing applications.

A message from Sketches SRL:

Hi all, this is Andrea from Sketches srl.

We're very excited and proud to have the opportunity to carry forward such an important project and everything Dani has built over the past seven years.

Our priority will be to actively maintain Lively while preserving the spirit that has made the project so successful. At the same time, we have plans to keep improving it with new wallpapers, features, and ideas, while keeping the community as involved as possible in its evolution.

If you have any feedback, suggestions, or ideas for how Lively could be improved, please keep sharing them through GitHub issues and discussions. We’ll be actively following the community’s feedback and would be very happy to hear your ideas.

Best,
Andrea
