| Step 8 | ![]() |
- Use an OTG cable or external USB powered hub to prevent damaging your PlayStation Classic and/or USB/MicroSD adapter
- OTG cables can't be used until after Project Eris installs
- Not every USB Flashdrive or Micro SD Adapter works. This is due to the front ports only providing around 100mA. If the USB or Micro SD doesn't work try with another. Micro SD Adapter seem to require less among the two.

To add a custom cover the cover image must share the same filename as the game only with the png extension. If a custom cover is not provided in the transfer folder the tool will look for a cover image matching the game’s serial number in the covers folder :
\project_eris\opt\psc_transfer_tools\covers\
JPEG images are also supported by the stock UI however the extension must be changed to “.png” to work with the transfer tool. Note: JPEG files cannot be displayed as thumbnails in RetroArch's playlists.
Copy the theme files on the USB in the root THEME folder.
