Who is Robert?

Robert has been using FreeBSD since the early 2000s, and the first release he installed was 4.4-RELEASE. He is an expert at reading and searching manual pages, and sometimes he can read files.

What is Robert?

Robert is Artificial Intelligence packaged as a native, 2MB FreeBSD binary. It currently requires DeepSeek because it is almost free to use but it could also work with other providers.

Install

GitHub builds a binary from the repository's source code and it is run every time a commit is pushed to the repository. The binary is roughly 1.78MB in size, and it can be downloaded here.

This project belongs to the llm.rb family of projects. The mruby-llm runtime is a port of llm.rb to mruby, and it was used to build this project.
