[Bug] All Chapters not showed when novels have "volumes" on rr

Not a bug. Probably not specific to RR.
This is just how paged tables of contents work in the app.

Looking at current 2.0.2, it appears that epub exports should export more than one page. Probably fixed your issue.
I don't know for sure about downloads, but export will be limited to whatever is downloaded, per the tooltip.

If this issue is resolved for you, please mark it as closed.
If this remains an issue, you'll probably need to be more specific about what the problem is in relation to downloading or exporting on current version.

this bug report cannot be more clear. The plugin is supposed to have the "all chapters" page since royalroad has its equivalent, and the plugin fails in doing so. I dont care about exporting per se, but I care about having everything in one page, as royalroad makes it possible.

Let's see...The code says:

Could change the code to have no volume. Could leave the code alone. Can't do both.
All the code does is add the relevant meta data, the formatting and pages is all app end.
Also not really my place to change it on a one person issue, I don't know what decisions, if any, went into this.

If you want a "all chapters" button, that's gotta be main app functionality. I can't do that from the plugin end. So you'd have to make an issue over there.
If you think the solution is clear, you're free to make a PR for it- on either end- and I'm sure the main devs will look it over when they get time.

In the first place, "I don't like how this looks" isn't a [Bug], it's a [Feature Request]. The code isn't wrong or erroring, it's just not how you like it.

Honestly, I don't really like pages either, but it's a logical and optimal way to parse data for most plugins. Bit unnecessary on some parts of RR, IMO, but I'm sure for novels with 100+ chapter volumes it makes things much more convenient.
If you get pushback that not all plugins should use this behavior, you could propose it's an opt-in feature, then FR the RR plugin to add that opt-in once it's added to the main app.

rr uses volumes like in the image simply to isolate.whole volumes.

Pages are just a comfortable extra (on this plugin) to divide what is what

Novels on rr that do not use the volume feature simply load ALL chapters anyway. And the ones that use the volume feature, load the "all chapter" first by default.

Brother. I'm not here to find fault with you. I'm trying to help you find the correct outlet for your desire. I cannot help you here.

It doesn't matter what your argument is, I told you, I can only do A or B. The plugin end only lets me do that. No matter how you ask, I still only have two options here, there's no other button.
If you're asking me to delete the pages from RR entirely so they have no volume information at all, that's at least possible, but I'm really not inclined to mess with other people's code if it's not broken. The code still works.

Do a feature request on the app side, IMO. Everything is possible from that end. If they do it from that end, everyone wins, everyone is happy.

@Rojikku rr shows all chapters anyway by default. changing permanently to all chapters would be better

pages for rr as plugin has lost its meaning, rr doesnt care since it does it itself.

This is mainly caused when chapters are stubbed, the volume entries still exist but the chapters are missing, causing an empty volume.

The epub export features / download features not working in paged plugins is most probably a bug caused by the fact that paged plugins are not accounted for in their logic, but I know next to nothing about app side

true, i seem to have mixed up this issue with a screenshot I saw of someone with no chapters in the first volume
