Functionallity for the self-hosted bandwagon

This is a suggestion, and perhaps anyone who does self-hosted services could add to this thread.

First thoughts: to improve the practical usage examples of this program:

• scheduled ping: when your workstation is up and connected it will schedule pings to your most important services, and any failed ping sessions should raise a notification in your workstation OS.

For scheduled pings, the ideal implementation would be that some other app/service makes Echo ping an address at an interval of time instead of implementing it straight into Echo, but I don't personally know a fully mature method of doing that.

But this feature would also shift the UI/UX quite a lot so i'm not sure if i want to do that 🤔
