Math node does not render on desktop

What Happened?

Using /Math or $$$$ does not render the math content on desktop.
We get a spinning wheel:

Side note, it works fine on test/logseq.com.

Reproduce the Bug

On desktop running on macOS
Test with:
/Math and add 1+1

Or

$$1+1$$

Expected Behavior

we should see the math note rendered instead of a spinning wheel.
