Task durations not up-to-date #12206

What Happened?
When I create a task and set is as DOING; I'd like to see its duration up-to-date in real time without doing anything, instead of just a snapshot of the last time I changed that task state.
Reproduce the Bug
I don't know if it classifies as a "bug" per se...
The way it works right now is that if I want to see how long a task has really taken so far, I have to manually cycle it from DOING to another state (or to DOING again).
Expected Behavior
Instead, I'd like to see the task's time running in real time, like a stopwatch app.
