Idomatic way to programmatically select all in an Input component?

Hi, what is the idiomatic way to select all in an input component programmatically?

I noticed that the select_all function is only public to the the super crate. I am struggling to figure out how to select all of the text in the field after calling focus.

In these cases below the search_input does take focus but the text is not selected.

This doesn't work:

window.defer(cx, move |window, cx| {
    search_input.update(cx, |state, cx| {
        state.focus(window, cx);
    });
    window.defer(cx, move |window, cx| {
        window.dispatch_action(Box::new(gpui_component::input::SelectAll), cx);
    });
});

This doesn't work:

window.defer(cx, move |window, cx| {
    search_input.update(cx, |state, cx| {
        state.focus(window, cx);
    window.dispatch_action(Box::new(gpui_component::input::SelectAll), cx);
    });
});

This fails to compile:

search_input.update(cx, |state, cx| {
    state.focus(window, cx);
    state.select_all(&gpui_component::input::SelectAll, window, cx); // fails to compile
});
