I wouldn't assume the Windows system font makes this unfixable. Vertical alignment should normally come from the font metrics used by the text layout, not the visible glyph bounding box. I'd compare computed line height, ascent and descent for the exact font selected on Windows versus the other platforms; centering glyph bounds instead of the line box could explain this. |

Because these are the devices / installs I am using.
On Windows 10, vertical text alignment is off.
AI tells me the system font is unbalanced and there is nothing I can do to fix that. Is that true?
