This library is now availabled on jsr.io

This version introduces some requested changes to the default behaviour of parse() and stringify() functions.

  • BREAKING(parse): XML prolog version attribute is now always left untouched (i.e. if version="1.0" it won't be converted to 1 anymore even with reviveNumbers: true)
  • BREAKING(parse): reviveNumbers and reviveBooleans now defaults to false (note: emptyToNull is still true by default)
  • BREAKING(stringify): XML entities are now escaped based on context rather than always (i.e. only " and ' will be escaped in attributes while only < and > will be escaped in nodes)
    • feat(stringify): add escapeAllEntities option to always escape XML entities regardless of context
