Breaking change: client reviewer links are now opt-in

Notes are internal by default. A note reaches a client reviewer link only when its author ticks Visible to client reviewers on the note.

Before this release, any open note on a public page was readable by anyone holding a reviewer link, including your own internal working notes. There was no flag, no author check, and no way to keep a note private while a link was live.

The check fails closed, so every note created before this release is invisible to reviewer links until you deliberately share it. A one-time migration restores the flag on notes your clients filed themselves, so their own feedback stays visible to them.

Reviewers can now also see their own notes at any status, with the date you resolved them. That is what stops a client re-reporting something you already fixed.

Known and unchanged: two different reviewer links on one site can see each other's open client-filed notes. That is deliberate - a second reviewer from the same client is usually wanted - but if you hand links to two unrelated clients, know that it is the case.

Also in this release

• Pin mode works on touch. The page scrolls normally and a tap pins, so a client reviewing on a phone can reach anything on the page.
• Pins are labelled by the element's visible text instead of reporting "Pinned to div".
• Safe-area insets and a 16px control floor, so the button clears the iOS Safari bar and inputs stop triggering zoom.
• The plugin reports statusAt and typeLabel to Red Pen Hub, so a Hub-side status change no longer reverts a later change made on the site.
• The retired PRO licence key, its verifier and every dead tier branch are gone.
• Plugin URI pointed at a 404; it now points at redpen.tools.
