[Question] Should web view work using https?

My esp is connected through Keenetic domain system

But when I try to log in to this domain, I am redirected to the HTTPS protocol. The frontend loads but there is a communication error with the board. The following error appears in the browser console:

Content: The page at 'https://printer.*****.keenetic.pro/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure XMLHttpRequest endpoint 'http://printer.*****.keenetic.pro/command?cmd=....'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

However, if you go to the address specified in the error message, the data will be successfully returned. Is this a bug and should the frontend be using a different protocol, or am I doing something wrong?

esp3d does not support https yet (#795) - it is planned , but not yet implemented
