Railscasts for Neovim

Railscasts is a warm, dark Neovim colorscheme that faithfully carries forward Ryan Bates' Railscasts TextMate visual language: charcoal surfaces, cream text, earthy comments, and expressive syntax accents.

Railscasts supports Neovim 0.9.5 and later. The original TextMate theme and Railscasts Vim colorscheme remain the visual references when the port's intent is unclear.

What Railscasts styles

  • Vim syntax, modern Tree-sitter captures, and LSP semantic tokens
  • Diagnostics, diffs, search, completion menus, tabs, floating windows, and terminal buffers
  • Lualine, ibl/IndentBlankLine, Kitty, and the supported UI plugin integrations

For how these choices fit together, see Design Language.
