Improve the UX flow for answering single date polls

Problem

We often use Rallly for polls with a single date option. As in: Who's coming to the event at that date?

For some of our users, it is not obvious that they have to choose an option. Therefore, they leave the checkbox untouched at [?], click on Continue, fill in their details, and Submit. The answer defaults to No.

In this situation, we can never be sure if they are really not coming or just forgot to choose an answer. Although the response on the "New participant" modal shows the answer as No, you cannot change it there, and it might not be obvious where to change it.

Idea

• Block the Continue button until at least one of the options was answered.
• When the user answers their first option, regardless of which, switch all other options from ? (unanswered) to (x) (No)

This remains a regular annoyance for our poll creators and users.

Some users do not understand that they have to select an option or where. They just click on the prominent continue button, fill out the form, and submit. Their answer is then by default "No" when many of them want to answer "Yes". The poll creator either has to guess their answer or ask everyone who replied with no.
