Wow, thank you so much for this message! This genuinely made my day. Knowing that Sone is solving some genuine pain point, is amazing. Ngl before releasing, I was in doubt that should I even release, who is gonna use it etc. And hearing this from an audio engineer, it's the highest compliment the project could ever hope for. Thank you for taking the time to write this. Comlements like yours and knowing that it's solving real problems, is what makes open source all worth it <3 |

Hi!
I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart, for creating and developing Sone!
I love Tidal, and ARM Linux (on Raspberry Pi 5) - which has been a very difficult combination so far for any music listening, because of no Widevine support (Spotify and other audio/video streaming services don't work without Widevine).
I have tried other Tidal players on Flatpak, but they have all been mediocre in different ways. But Sone just works, and knocks it out of the park in all ways - technically, in functionality, design and customisation!
As an audio engineer, I really appreciate the bit-perfect playback, but just as much the beautiful color themes, which are even customisable - cherry on top! And the recent playlist folders, mini player, lyrics support, Discord presence.. everything!!
You are my favorite developer!! <3 <3 <3
