This is just a spec that would have caught the error in #80

if GLI can't parse its files, the return value will not be truthy. in general the fact that changes to the GLI files have no specs has always been a bit of a concern because we have only been catching them by manually running the commands; this solves a lot of that uncertainty

i'm just going to merge this since the specs are passing and it will prevent future errors.
