GNOME 49 Support

Arch Linux updated with GNOME 49 today so this issue so this extension fails. Seems to work fine just disabling the metadata version check though.

When forced on gnome 49 4 finger gesture stop to work.

@laverdone doesn't do that for me. 4 finger gestures work fine.

So, with version validation disabled, the extension works the same on GNOME 49 as it does on GNOME 48.

Now with Fedora 43 with GNOME 49 more people will complain from the lack of compatibility. @laverdone I just added "49" to metadata.json and indeed left/right 4 finger swipe gestures stopped working. 4 finger swipe up and down still work fine.

I am on Gnome 49 with Wayland running on Fedora 43. It would be nice if I could install it via the Gnome Shell Extensions site. I personally don't care about four finger gestures.

Follow the instructions and log out and back in to get the extension working.

It looks like this extension has been abandoned. If you want 3 finger gestures disabled, but you want all 4 finger GNOME gestures to work normally, an alternative is to use this patch script.
