Apple has announced that starting with macOS 28, Rosetta will remain available only for a limited set of older, unmaintained game titles that depend on Intel-based frameworks. Support for Intel-based apps ends there. Intel Macs themselves already stopped receiving major macOS updates after macOS 26 Tahoe, so the platform has no forward path either way.

Building babyrite for Intel Mac therefore no longer protects a realistic user, and the target only spends CI minutes.
Along with this, support for Intel Macs has been discontinued starting from babyrite v1.4.7.
If you wish to continue using babyrite, please use an Apple Silicon Mac (aarch64) environment or a Linux distribution.
