crash (related to using NewRegion?)

Reproduction

Select the default "System 7.0". Drag micropython.dsk into it. Double click the resulting flyingline icon. If it does work, close it by clicking and then double click it again.

Expected behaviour

the demo runs just like it does in my local testing with umac

Observed behaviour

the screen is partially corrupt & cannot return to the finder
