two makefiles under /ports/unix, can one be removed/renamed?

Description

Under the /ports/unix directory there is both a Makefile (capital M) and a makefile (lowercase m).

This causes git problems when checking out this repository on systems that don't have a case-sensitive filesystem, like macOS.

Can one of these files be renamed / removed?

The lowercase "makefile" should not have been committed in the first place. The main branch now includes the fix, b043cf0
