On El Capitan, we need to redraw the view when entering full-screen using :fullscreen option (including Ctrl-Cmd-f), and leaving full-screen by moving the window out from Split View.

+1 This looks good to me. I still see some status bar redraw issues, but they are exceedingly minor artifacts compared to the unusable mess split view used to be, so this is awesome. |
