Uh oh!

PrintVault reads the 3D print folder you already have. It does not import, copy, upload or reorganise anything. It builds an index on top of what is there, renders a preview for every model so you are looking at pictures instead of filenames, pulls print settings back out of gcode and 3mf, reads inside zips without unpacking them, and tells you what you have twice.
No account, no server, no telemetry. Everything stays on your machine.
Try it without giving it a folder
There is a demo at printvault.magikh0e.pl/app/?demo. It fills the app with an invented library so you can click around before deciding whether to point it at your own files. It runs entirely in memory, so it cannot see or change a real library in the same browser, and it disappears when you close the tab.
0.2.21 is out
Installers for Windows, macOS and Linux are on the releases page, with a
SHA256SUMS.txtalongside them if you want to check what you downloaded. The desktop app updates itself from there.Recent work worth knowing about:
Where to put things
Something broken goes in Issues. Questions, and folder layouts it groups badly, go in Q&A here.
That second one is where I would most like the help. Nested version and kit folders are the known weak spot: a structure like
model/Version A/Kit 1/part.stlcurrently produces one entry per kit rather than one per model. If your library comes out wrong, post the structure and I will see what I can do.It is free and GPL-3.0, built in my own time. If it saves you a failed print or a few gigabytes, there is a link on the repo.
