SmartClose 0.2.0

New

  • Optional Cmd+W handling (experimental, off by default). SmartClose can now apply its "quit on last window" behavior to the Cmd+W shortcut. It lets the app handle Cmd+W normally first, then requests a normal quit only if that actually closed the app's last normal window. Enable it in Settings → Behavior → Handle Cmd+W (experimental). Honors the ignore/allow lists and per-app rules, and never acts on SmartClose itself. Thanks @sohate for the suggestion! (#1)

Fixed

  • Closing SmartClose's own window no longer quits the app — SmartClose now hard-excludes itself.

Other

  • New app icon.
  • README: added a Contributors section (all-contributors) and a demo placeholder.

Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple; the notarization ticket is stapled to both the DMG and the app. Verify downloads against the attached SHA-256 checksums.

Requires macOS 13.0 or later, plus Accessibility and Input Monitoring permissions.
