Ceiling Fan integration would be awesome

Do have a Morris Ceiling Fan, 6 fan speeds reverse and normal direction, and a light bulb, is there any way i can help on this integration, realy love to have the fan in HA integrated, do have some Python and JS coding experience, and am a quick learner... any tips or advise on how to add the Ceiling Fan???

First you should try to add it. There are many ceiling fans with lights supported already, and there are some tuya standards for the dps layout for both lights and fans that are often followed by manufacturers. The main difference between devices is the number of speeds and names of presets for the fan.

There is no Python coding required to add devices, they are defined by yaml config files that describe the entities present and map HA features to Tuya datapoints.

i have been trying adding for a few hours now, if i add new device... manual, also tried cloud with Tuya app api.... then it recognises the brand and the type, but it does not provide controll entities... but manual local is my prefered option...DeviceID, IP, LocalKey, all gets accepted, then i get a selection list for device-type selection, but there are no fans there, i tried a vacuum device and others, none of them gave me entities to control the fan...
