Hi Tuya Local team,

Firstly, thank you for all the work that goes into this integration.
I'm trying to integrate a Holman irrigation system into Home Assistant using Tuya Local and have encountered what appears to be an issue specific to the Holman Wi-Fi Socket.
Environment
Home Assistant 2026.6.4
Latest Tuya Local release installed via HACS
Latest available firmware on all Holman devices
Hardware
Holman Wi-Fi Hub
Holman Wi-Fi Socket (gateway child device)
Holman WX1 Tap Timer
All three devices are paired with the Smart Life app and are visible in the Tuya IoT Platform.
What works
The Holman WX1 Tap Timer has been added successfully to Tuya Local and functions correctly in Home Assistant.
This demonstrates that communication through the Holman Wi-Fi Hub is working for at least one gateway child device.
What doesn't work
The Holman Wi-Fi Socket cannot be added.
When selecting the Wi-Fi Socket during the Tuya Local setup wizard:
The device is recognised as a gateway child device.
The Hub Device ID is automatically populated.
The Hub IP address is automatically populated.
The Hub Local Key is automatically populated.
The Node ID is automatically populated.
After pressing Submit, the setup fails with the following message:
Unable to connect to your device with those details. It could be an intermittent issue, or they may be incorrect. If you selected a specific protocol version, try 'auto' instead.
Troubleshooting completed
Hub online.
Socket online.
WX1 Tap Timer operating correctly through the same Hub.
Protocol Auto tested.
Protocol 3.3 tested.
Protocol 3.4 tested.
Protocol 3.5 tested.
Hub Device ID verified.
Hub Local Key verified.
Socket present in the Tuya IoT Platform.
The Wi-Fi Socket does not appear to have its own Local Key in the Tuya IoT Platform, which I assume is expected behaviour for a gateway child device.
Question
Is the Holman Wi-Fi Socket currently supported as a Tuya gateway child device?
If so, is there anything further I can provide to help diagnose why it cannot be added?
If it is not currently supported, I'd be happy to assist with testing if support is added in a future release.
Thank you for your time and for all the work on this integration.
