Summary

  • cli.malloynb: Document three config modes (--config, --project-dir, default), --project-dir default connection behavior, DuckDB working directory resolution by config mode, and --project-dir in global options
  • config.malloynb: Add includeDefaultConnections section, config file discovery with malloy-config-local.json overrides, DuckDB workingDirectory default from project root, Snowflake schemaSampleTimeoutMs property
  • extension.malloynb: Rewrite connection resolution priority (project > global > settings+defaults), document local config overrides, update sidebar description, fix DuckDB relative path resolution (workspace root, not .malloy file directory)

Test plan

  • Review rendered docs for accuracy against malloy-cli 0.0.374+ behavior
  • Verify links between cli.malloynb and config.malloynb still resolve
