Per input device configuration

It's quite a niche request, but would it be possible to implement a per device configuration for input devices? I use two keyboards on my machine, an ergodox keyboard with the neo layout for my daily life and a normal keyboard with the normal german layout for gaming. I would like not having to switch the config file around every time I start a game.

Hyprland does this quite well.

That's not a rare setup. Per device configuration is also useful for Thinkpads having a trackpad and a trackpoint. They usually require different acceleration profiles.

Someone might also have an external mouse -- offers a lot more space than a touchpad, so the sensitivity can be proportionally lower
