Can't pull from remote

I'm working on a test in the "doc-check" branch. I had to make a manual change (create a symlink, which can't be done in the CLT UI). Now I can’t see this change in the CLT UI:

I tried:

• clicking this:

- switching to "master" and then back to "doc-check"

But the manual change I made in the branch still doesn’t show up in the checked-out version in CLT UI.
