Thank you, Aleksandra, for sharing your experience and for choosing Manticore as part of your migration from Sphinx. We're delighted to hear that RT tables, vector search, and the overall flexibility have made the transition smoother. We also appreciate your feedback about the Helm chart support for plain tables — comments like yours help us identify where the developer experience can be improved. |

I’m currently implementing Manticore Search in one of our projects as a replacement for Sphinx.
What I like most is the flexibility of RT tables, support for vector search, and the ability to build hash-based structures when needed. These features give us much more flexibility compared to our previous setup.
The only issue I faced during implementation was related to the Helm chart when working with plain tables. There wasn’t a ready-to-use solution for our case, so I had to adapt my own chart and replace the image manually.
Other than that, my experience has been positive so far. The migration process has been smooth overall, and Manticore already looks like a solid improvement over our previous solution.
I first learned about Manticore from our DevOps team lead, who specifically recommended using it for this project.
Aleksandra, Nixys DevOps engineer
